Our ESL for Teens program is tailored to meet the unique needs of teenagers striving to improve their English language skills. Here’s what to expect: Assessment and Placement: Upon joining, students undergo a comprehensive assessment to determine their proficiency level. This helps us place them in the appropriate class, ensuring a personalized learning experience. - Curriculum Design: The program features a dynamic curriculum designed to enhance English language proficiency through engaging and relevant content. Students will work on: - Grammar and Syntax: Understanding and applying grammatical rules and sentence structures. - Vocabulary Building: Expanding vocabulary with practical and thematic word lists. - Reading Comprehension: Analyzing various texts, including literature, articles, and essays, to develop critical reading skills. - Writing Skills: Crafting essays, reports, and creative writing pieces, focusing on coherence, structure, and style. - Listening and Speaking: Practicing conversation, pronunciation, and listening skills through interactive activities and role-playing scenarios. Assessments and Progress Tracking: Students will regularly complete mini-tests and level tests to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement. This helps in tailoring instruction and supports students in advancing from low beginner to advanced levels. Class Structure: Classes are designed to be interactive and student-centered, combining group work, individual tasks, and real-life practice. This approach ensures that students not only learn English but also apply it in meaningful contexts. Our ESL for Teens program aims to build confidence and fluency in English, preparing students for academic success and effective communication in diverse settings.
Cancellation Policy
At Positive Tutors, we want every session to be productive and seamless for both students and tutors. To ensure this, we have the following booking guidelines: Rescheduling & Cancellations: Classes can be rescheduled or canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled session without penalty. Requests made less than 24 hours in advance will result in the session being forfeited. No-Shows & Late Arrivals: Missed classes or late arrivals cannot be rescheduled, and no refunds will be provided. Sessions are considered forfeited if not attended. Trial Classes: Our free trial classes are exempt from cancellation and forfeiture policies, giving students the chance to experience our tutoring risk-free. Package Booking: Students may schedule sessions at their convenience, but we encourage booking ahead of time to reserve tutors’ availability and ensure timely access to classes. Payment: Full payment is required when purchasing any tutoring package to secure your sessions. Tutor Availability: Tutors’ schedules may vary. Booking in advance helps students maximize their package credits and maintain consistent learning progress. We recommend parents and students plan ahead to make the most of every session and maintain continuity in learning.
