Service Description

Our SAT Reading & Writing Program is designed to help students strengthen the critical reading and writing skills needed to perform well on the SAT. Through structured lessons, expert guidance, and consistent practice, students develop the knowledge and strategies required to improve their scores in the SAT Reading & Writing section. This is an online small-group tutoring program that meets twice a week and is carefully scheduled so students complete the course before their next SAT test date. The pace allows students to build skills steadily while maintaining a manageable learning schedule. Program Structure The SAT Reading & Writing program includes: - 40 total classes - Twice-a-week sessions for 10 weeks - 2 classes per day This consistent structure gives students the time and repetition needed to master concepts while developing effective test-taking strategies. Small Group Learning Classes are intentionally kept small and limited in size to create a more personalized learning experience. Students benefit from learning alongside peers while still receiving individual attention from expert tutors who monitor progress, answer questions, and provide targeted feedback. What Students Will Learn: Using standard SAT materials that closely mirror the real exam, tutors guide students through the key skill areas tested on the SAT Reading & Writing section. Information and Ideas Students practice identifying main ideas, interpreting evidence, and analyzing information from passages, charts, and graphs. Craft and Structure Students learn how authors use vocabulary, tone, and organization to communicate meaning and develop stronger passage analysis skills. Expression of Ideas & Standard English Conventions Students improve clarity and organization in writing while mastering grammar rules and sentence structure tested on the SAT. SAT Grammar Practice Focused exercises help students strengthen skills in punctuation, verb tense, subject-verb agreement, modifiers, and sentence clarity. Strategy and Practice Each class combines clear instruction with real SAT-style practice questions, allowing students to apply strategies immediately. Lessons include guided exercises, timed drills, and problem-solving discussions that help improve accuracy, speed, and confidence under test conditions. Students also practice using the College Board-approved online practice platform, ensuring they become familiar with official SAT question formats and testing tools.
